Hawke's Bay and Otago are the only teams with two wins after a rain soaked first day at the interprovincials in Palmerston North
Hawke's Bay and Otago are the only teams with two wins after a wet opening day of the men's golf interprovincials in Palmerston North.
Hawke's Bay's afternoon 3-2 win over one of the pre-tournament favourites Auckland did not finish till after 8pm after several suspensions in play as rain flooded the Manawatu club.
Otago leads the way in division one from Aorangi, defending champions Bay of Plenty and Poverty Bay-East Coast, who picked up their first win in four years.
Hawke's Bay leads from host Manawatu-Wanganui and Auckland.
Rounds three and four continue today.
