ARL boss Geoff Carr knows nothing of the speculation about a player boycott of the Four Nations tournament
There are rumours of a player boycott in rugby league's Four Nations tournament.
An Australian report claims an NRL club-instigated boycott of the international tournament could come about because of frustration over the slowness of moves towards an independent commission.
However, Australian Rugby League boss Geoff Carr has warned any attempt to boycott the tournament could not be done legally as club agreements and player contracts bind both to representative duties. Carr says he has heard nothing of the boycott and the clubs would sacrifice revenue if it went ahead.
