In the latest round of the IndyCar Championship in Edmonton tomorrow morning Scott Dixon will start on the 2nd row of the grid

New Zealand's Scott Dixon will start from the 2nd row of the grid in the latest round of the IndyCar Championship in Edmonton tomorrow morning.

Dixon set the 3rd fastest time in qualifying, behind the Penske pairing of Will Power and Helio Castroneves. Power claimed his sixth pole start of the year as he chases his 3rd win in a row.

The Australian currently leads the championship by 42 points from Scotsman Dario Franchitti, with Dixon another 36 points adrift.
