Outspoken Springbok coach Peter de Villiers will face a hearing after making controversial comments on Australian TV.

A SANZAR-appointed judicial officer will conduct a hearing looking into the comments Springboks coach Peter de Villiers made last week.

SANZAR has issued a notice of alleged misconduct against the outspoken coach after he suggested there was a conspiracy behind the All Blacks' two wins over the 'Boks earlier this month. de Villiers' comments may constitute a breach of the SANZAR code of conduct.

The hearing will take place next week with details to be advised.

Meanwhile the South African Rugby Union continues to back their outspoken coach with President Oregan Hoskins insisting de Villiers' job is safe.
