Phoenix signs two more players

A-League club the Wellington Phoenix have signed Oscar Roberto Cornejo and Mirjan Pavlovic for the 2010-11 season.

The Wellington Phoenix have confirmed the signings of Argentine midfielder Oscar Roberto Cornejo and rising Australian striker Mirjan Pavlovic.

Cornejo, nicknamed Toto, has played top-flight club football in his home country of Argentina as well as Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru. He impressed for the Phoenix in last week's 2-1 win over Boca Juniors.

Pavlovic has previously played for the Newcastle Jets and scored a hat-trick in the pre-season match in Masterton yesterday.

The two signings takes the Phoenix squad to 19 players. They must have at least 20 players signed by the August 4 deadline.
