Roberto Cornejo and Mirjan Pavlovic agree terms with Wellington Phoenix who now need just one more signing for A-League season

The Wellington Phoenix playing roster is all but set after confirmation of two new signings.

Argentine Oscar Roberto Cornejo and young Australian Mirjan Pavolvic are the latest to agree terms with the Phoenix. They have impressed enough during trials to be offered contracts.

Cornejo is a well travelled attacking midfielder, who has plied his trade in Argentine, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Chile, while 21-year-old striker Pavlovic has had previous A-League experience with the Newcastle Jets.

The signings leave the Phoenix roster at 19 players, one short of the minimum 20 required under FFA rules. However, the club also has an offer on the table for former Socceroos defender Jay North and team officials are confident they will get their man.

Indonesian international striker Bambang Pamungkas also arrives in Wellington this weekend to begin a trial with the Phoenix.
