The New Zealand bowls team has made four out of six semifinals at the eight nations tournament in Delhi.

Men's singles rep Ali Forsyth, women's singles rep Val Smith, the men's pair and the men's triple qualified in the top four in the test event for the Commonwealth Games. The women's pair and triple failed to reach their semis after being struck down by the dreaded "Delhi belly."
