Mahon, Douglas miss World Cup squad

There are two obvious omissions from the Black Sticks Hockey World Cup squad named today - Kate Mahon and Laura Douglas.
Kate Mahon and Laura Douglas are the major omissions from the New Zealand women's hockey squad named for next month's World Cup in Argentina.
Both players have been left out of the 18-strong squad despite featuring in the Champions Trophy in England earlier in the month.
The squad is captained by Kayla Sharland and features several veteran players, like Emily Naylor, Krystal Forgesson and Stacey Carr.
The World Cup starts on August 29.
