In 1994 it began as a half hour rural feature on an independently owned Southland radio station. Today it has grown to an hour, become an integral part of the farming day and can be heard throughout the country on Radio Sport and Newstalk ZB. It’s the Farming Show hosted by Jamie Mackay.

The Farming Show is something quite unique in the farming world. It brings together news, views and interviews on all things rural (and a few which aren’t) and takes them from on-farm to online.

The Farming Show on RadioSport.co.nz is updated daily, providing 24/7 access to the latest news and comment on farming, the economy, politics, sport and weather.

As many media outlets scale back their coverage of rural issues, The Farming Show on RadioSport.co.nz is committed to enlightening, entertaining, educating and informing New Zealand farmers and those interested in agribusiness.
