Fighting between fans has marred the Greek Cup basketball between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos.

Riot police were called in after two players were hurt, one with a knife thrown from the stands, the other hit by a flare in the back.

Authorities stopped the game with seven minutes to play, emptying the stadium after opposing fans clashed in the stands and on the court.

Play resumed after an hour, with Panathinaikos going on to win 81-78.
