Blaze submission to be assessed next week

Basketball Australia will assess a submission from the Gold Coast Blaze next week and make a decision about the ANBL franchise's future.

Yesterday was the deadline for the Blaze to prove they can pay off their $12 million in debt in order to play in the upcoming season.

The Blaze have submitted new information to Basketball Australia, who will make an assessment on the viability of the club within a week.
