There are 10 past or present internationals in the Auckland Aces squad to qualify for next month's Champions League Twenty20 competition in South Africa. Coach Paul Strong has named a 15-strong squad for the trip, with left-arm bowler Mitchell McClenaghan added to the side that won the HRV Cup back in January. Auckland's side includes nine current or ex-Black Caps and former Pakistan international Azhar Mahmood. The Black Caps included in the Auckland side will join the team in South Africa after the completion of the Twenty20 World Cup. New Zealand face Australia in a warm-up match in Colombo this evening.
