Black Caps hold out hope for Twenty20 semis spot

Share |

By: Andy Rowe | Cricket News | Monday October 1 2012 17:14

No more second chances for the Black Caps.

To make the World Twenty20 semi finals, New Zealand must beat the West Indies tonight and hope Sri Lanka defeats England in the following match.

Despite the sudden-death nature of the match, Black Caps spinner Daniel Vettori is against moving Brendon McCullum to the top of the order.

Vettori says it's worked well with McCullum at three and he's starting to get comfortable in the position.

The Black Caps' Super Eights match will start at 11pm.
