Amla creates South African cricket history

Hashim Amla's created South African cricket history in putting the Proteas into a dominant position after four days of the first cricket test against England at The Oval.

Amla's scored the country's first ever triple century as they declared on a mammoth 637/2.

He ended unbeaten on 311 with Jacques Kallis at the other end on 182.

The bowlers have put then put the foot on the throat, with the hosts teetering at 102/4 at stumps, still trailing by 150.
