New Zealand cricket boss David White will meet with Ross Taylor today with the embattled Black Caps captain possibly set to quit the national team. The captaincy debacle has dragged on all week with revelations coach Mike Hesson wants Brendon McCullum as his skipper, with the relationship between the coach and Taylor becoming untenable. New Zealand Cricket's handling of the matter has been described as a PR disaster. The Test, ODI and T20 squads to tour South Africa will be named tomorrow with the latest plan involving splitting the captaincy between Taylor and McCullum, a plan sources indicate Taylor is unlikely to accept. Former Black Caps batsman Jesse Ryder has come out in support of Taylor via Twitter, saying it angers him watching Taylor getting dumped on and New Zealand Cricket should show him some support.
