Kiwi Lynnette Brooky is in a three way share of the lead after the opening round of the New Zealand Women's Golf Open at Pegasus, North of Christchurch.
Brooky has fired a five under 67, to be tied with England's Kim Larrett and Joanna Klatten of France.
She's happy with where she sits after a shaky start to the tournament.
"The first tee shot made me look as if it was nerve-wracking, and both girls rolled in 20, 30 footers for birdies on the first hole and I putted mine to about six feet wide and I thought, oh my god, but I got my par putt in and I felt comfortable."
And Kiwi amateur Lydia Ko remains in the hunt after round one of the New Zealand Women's Golf Open at Pegasus, north of Christchurch.
Ko is two shots off the lead after a first round three under par 69.
"This morning I saw what Kristy Smith said about me and about my robot putting," she says.
"Yeah it was really good, I hit it good and I putted good."
