Kiwi golfing sensation Lydia Ko has stormed into a share of the lead after two rounds of the New Zealand women's golf open at Pegasus, north of Christchurch.
Ko has fired a three under 69, to be in a six way share of the lead on six under.
Despite missing a couple of putts for birdie, the 14 year old is happy with her overall round.
Ko says missing some the birdie opportunities weren't a big blow because she got putts that she didn't expect to get in.
Fellow amateur Cecilia Cho is the next best New Zealander on two under par.
