New Zealand left-hander Gareth Paddison produced a clinical four-under par 67 to assume outright leadership of the Victorian PGA Championship after 54 holes at the Forest Resort.
The 31-year-old from Wellington fired five birdies on the tricky par-71 course near Ballarat to open up a three-shot lead at 10 under par.
Geelong professional James McLean is outright second but struggled throughout the third round for a one-over 72.
