American Hunter Mahan has fired a scintillating six under par 65 to rocket to the lead at the AT&T National on the PGA Tour. Mahan fired seven birdies and one bogey at the perennially tough congressional course to move to a two stroke lead over a group of three players who are at five under. Tiger Woods has moved himself into contention with a three under par round which included a 48ft putt for eagle. He's in a tie for 11th at two under. Photo: Hunter Mahan (Getty Images) |
