Sydney Roosters forward Jared Waerea-Hargreaves is facing two NRL matches on the sidelines for two high tackles in his side's draw with Cronulla. The Kiwis representative was twice placed on report and has been charged by the judiciary with two grade one charges. Each charge carries a separate one-game ban if Waerea-Hargreaves contests and loses. However the more likely scenario is missing this weekend's match with South Sydney by taking the early guilty plea on both charges and receiving a one-game suspension from the accumulated points. Tigers forward Adam Blair also needs to successfully defend a dangerous leg contact charge to play this weekend. Photo: Photosport |
