Warriors knock Tigers out of top eight

By: Nick Walker | Rugby League News | Sunday July 8 2012 6:51

The Warriors are into eighth on the NRL ladder with a convincing 32-14 victory over the Titans on the Gold Coast.

Three tries from centre Konrad Hurrell helps the side to 20 competition points, edging the Tigers out of the top eight on points differential.

Halfback Shaun Johnson says while they let in three quick tries in the first half, they're happy with the way they bounced back.

"What was important was how we turned it around. Every side goes through flat patches in every game, and it's just how you respond to them. I think that was probably the most pleasing thing, how we just turned it around, got back into the game and got back into the rhythm and finished strong.

"I think that's an important thing coming in to this time of year, you've got to show up every weekend, and hopefully we can keep doing that."
