Manly with plenty of respect for Melbourne rivals

Manly's full of praise for the Melbourne Storm ahead of tonight's preliminary final at AAMI Park.

Sea Eagles coach Geoff Toovey's playing down the rivalry between the two clubs, who beat each other in the Grand Finals of 2007 and 2008.

Toovey says beating the Storm at home is one of the toughest challenges in the competition.

"It's very tough to travel to Melbourne. They've been one of the most consistent sides over the last four or five years and they've had just as much experience as us, particularly over that period."

Kickoff in Melbourne's at 9:45pm.
