Matulino to play injured for rest of season

Warriors prop Ben Matulino is resigned to playing with injury for the remainder of the NRL season.

Matulino was forced from the field with a sternum problem in the Warriors loss to the Sharks earlier this month, but has been named to start this weekend against the Cowboys.

"Got the knock against Penrith and we didn't get to test it out during the week because it was a short turnaround and it was a light week. But it's alright, I'll be playing with it throughout the season, and when the season's done that's when it will probably heal."

Ben Matulino says he'll take injections before each game so hopefully won't be playing in pain.
