The Warriors will aim to restrict the Broncos pace to try and win a third straight NRL game tonight in Brisbane. The Broncos will have their State of Origin charges back for the first time since the decider ten days ago. Warriors five-eighth James Maloney says they're hard to stop once they get on a roll in their sets. "They play very up tempo style and get on the front foot, they've got McCullough who gets their forwards rolling forward and blokes play off the back of that, so it's definitely a big job for us, around the middle especially, to win that ruck." Warriors prop Jacob Lillyman's imploring his side to finally put a complete performance on the board in tonight's match. They meet their third Queensland opposition in as many games and despite back-to-back wins have switched off for periods in both games. Lillyman says that needs to stop. "We sort of haven't done it this year at all, so I think it's a good time to start doing it, and a good time to start hitting our straps." The Warriors welcome back Manu Vatuvei from an injury layoff for tonight's match. Photo: Photosport |
