The NRL have agreed to delay for 24 hours the hearing of a biting charge against Canterbury prop James Graham. The matter was referred straight to the judiciary yesterday and the Bulldogs asked for a delay because their presentation night clashed with the regular hearing time. Graham is charged with biting the ear of Melbourne fullback Billy Slater in Sunday's grand final. The incident was part of a wild brawl that resulted in fighting charges against Storm pair Sisa Waqa and Todd Lowrie plus Canterbury's Josh Reynolds. They face one-game suspensions but Graham is looking at a much longer ban. Photo: Photosport |
