Front row test

By: Rikki-Jayne Swannell | Latest Rugby League News | Saturday February 18 2012 17:01

An early test of the Warriors' front row depth, two weeks out from the new NRL season.

Russell Packer, Ben Matulino, Sione Lousi and John Palavi will all get a run in today's final pre-season trial against the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles in Whangarei at 5pm.

It follows injuries to Jacob Lillyman, and Sam and Steve Rapira.

Packer, now the senior man up front, says there's no point putting the remaining players in cotton wool.

He says there's no panic stations, but it will mean a full squad effort.
