Warriors fullback Kevin Locke is out for the rest of the NRL season. He was forced from the field in their heavy loss to the Cowboys on the weekend, with subsequent scans showing he has a high ankle sprain. It means he'll sit out the remaining three games, with Carlos Tuimavave taking the number one jersey for this Sunday's match against the Panthers. The team's out of the top eight and already missing a large chunk experience with Simon Mannering, Jerome Ropati and Sam Rapira, so Locke's omission is just more bad news. Manu Vatuvei will again lead the side in Mannering's absence. Photo: Kevin Locke (Photosport) |
