Murphy confident he'll race at Bathurst

Kiwi V8 Supercars driver Greg Murphy is on the mend and confident he'll be ready to race at Bathurst in October.

Murphy had back surgery just two weeks ago and is aiming to be fit and racing in September.

He says he's 100 percent positive he'll be right for Bathurst but he's aiming for a return for the Sandown 500 about three weeks before.

Murphy also says he's open to the idea of switching from Holden to Nissan in 2013.
