Pedersen wins final race

Ant Pedersen has won the final race of the opening round of the new V8 SuperTourers series at Hampton Downs.

Pedersen has avoided the carnage in an drama-filled race to take the checkered flag ahead of John McIntyre and Scott McLaughlin.

Greg Murphy has finished seventh after he was black-flagged for spinning Kayne Scott.
