The Silver Ferns are rallying behind under fire shooter Cathrine Latu. With New Zealand trailing England by two at halftime in last night's Quad Series match, Latu was subbed for Irene van Dyk in what was a pre-planned move. Goal attack Maria Tutaia says her Northern Mystic teammate has done a good job since making the step up to international netball. "Everybody has different opinions about different players. Her and Irene, they're two totally different, unique players and there's things that Irene can do that Catherine can't and vice-versa. They both bring two different styles of play on court." Tutaia says people that haven't played in the Silver Ferns can't really say much about Latu's form. Photo: Photosport |
