Central Pulse coach Robyn Broughton is struggling to keep pace with all the twists and turns as they try to re-sign Australian goal-shoot Caitlin Thwaites. Broughton was surprised by Australian head coach Lisa Alexander's directive that she wants Thwaites playing for an Australian franchise in next year's ANZ Netball Championship. Broughton says she thought the situation was resolved when she spoke to Thwaites a couple of weeks ago. "She assured me that she would be back here. So whether going into this camp, she's had second thoughts or not I would hope not because she is integral to the Pulse. And we should have been looking elsewhere a lot sooner." Photo: Photosport |
