Collective agreement signed for netball franchises

A new collective agreement has been signed for the five New Zealand franchises in the 2013 ANZ netball Championship.

The deal contains a number of changes but the key initiative is the introduction of a $380,000 salary cap for all teams, which will be controlled and monitored more strictly.

Another change sees the ability for teams to contract between 12 and 14 players in their squad.
