Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic are chasing a remarkable eighth straight ANZ Championship win this afternoon, but their season remains delicately poised. The Magic are in fourth position, but a loss would likely rule them out of a top four finish with just a round to follow. Coach Noeline Taurua says after losing their first four games of the season, they know how to get up for must-win games. "We've been forced to live some of the words that we say and everyone has a role including myself, and also the leaders, that we do what we need to do to make sure that we can perform for that game." However Taurua says they can't afford to start thinking about the playoffs. "Yes we are in the top four but that can easily change so we're just taking game by game, week by week, looking to be better than the previous week and just put it all out on line."
