The Melbourne Vixens expect the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic to have a disrupted early part to the week building into the ANZ Championship final. The Magic have just six days to turn around from their extra time preliminary final victory over the Mystics for Sunday's decider in Melbourne. Vixens defender Julie Corletto believes it'll take a couple of days for the Magic to recover. "We all got together and watched the game, and we were quite happy to see the game go into extra time. It got a bit physical, yea hopefully the Magic girls will be a bit tired now and have to do a bit of recovery before they head over across the tasman." Corletto believes the Magic are also hampered by having to travel, though they've been good on the road this year. Photo: Photosport |
