Patience approach on attack for Taumaunu

By: Rikki Swannell | Netball News | Sunday October 28 2012 18:01

Silver Ferns coach Wai Taumaunu is continuing with a patient approach as she tries to grow her attacking stocks.

The Ferns play South Africa in Tauranga tonight, their last hit out before a rematch with Australia.

Taumaunu will again look to give a number of players court time, as the attackers try to adapt to new shooters and feeders.

"You do tend to get used to the traits of your own shooter and if you look at who they generally feed, Laura feeds Irene and that link's very strong. Maria feeds Cat, so she's able to do that, but Cat and Irene are quite dissimilar players."

Play starts at 7:50pm, with Australia meeting England in the early game from 6pm.
