Knee surgery rules Corletto out

Australia will be without defender Julie Corletto for the rest of the year.

Knee surgery means Corletto will miss next week's third Constellation Cup test against the Silver Ferns, and the upcoming Quad series.

Kiwi coach Wai Taumaunu says they're likely to make some changes in Christchurch, but new mid-courter Bailey Mes will likely have to wait for her test debut.

"She's come on well in all of our practice matches, but I would like to give her an experience that is enjoyable and helps her long term development and it may not be one of those at the moment."

Corletto's likely to be fit in time to join the start of the Northern Mystics ANZ Championship pre-season.
