Australia claims dead rubber third test

Australia has had the last say in this year's Constellation Cup series against the Silver Ferns.

The Diamonds have outclassed New Zealand 59-53 in the third match of the series.

The visitors trailed by five at the end of the first quarter before roaring into life to lead 32-28 at halftime.

The match was in the bag for Australia when they led by 12 heading into the final quarter.

Diamonds goal shoot Caitlin Bassett scored a game high 40 from 50.

New Zealand still wins the series 2-1.
