The Blues are heading for a strong start to their Super Rugby season with ticket sales to their opener booming.
Sales for the same game against the Crusaders to start last year's campaign were just over 20,000.
Blues CEO Andy Dalton says they're already pushing that mark.
He says they're at 20,000 now and expect to sell over 30,000.
Dalton says he's not putting any pressure on the team to bring home the silverware this year because the players have already piled it on themselves.
The Blues and Crusaders teams are named this morning.
