The trial of former All Black Rene Ranger continues. The 25-year-old is in the Whangarei District Court facing an injuring with intent to injure charge after an incident which left a man unconscious outside Mangawhai Tavern three years ago. Those who have given evidence so far include the complainant Jason Dick who accuses Ranger of punching and kicking him, those who arrived at the scene after the alleged attack and the doctor who treated Dick for his facial injuries. The trial is expected to end on Thursday. Photo: Rene Ranger playing for the Blues (Photosport) |
