Taranaki run away with win in second half

Taranaki's turned around a halftime deficit to trounce Southland 47-18 in their ITM Cup meeting in Invercargill.

The visitors have erased some of the pain of losing the Ranfurly Shield to Waikato, by running in five tries including two to James Marshall.

Jayden Hayward, Frazier Climo and Jackson Ormond also crossed for Taranaki who trailed 15-6 at halftime.

Climo took away a personal haul of 27 points.

Matt Saunders and Tayler Adams scored Southland's tries.
