The younger brother of Hurricanes winger Julian Savea will make his Super Rugby debut against the Waratahs on Saturday.

Ardie Savea has been named on the openside flank replacing Karl Lowe, one of three changes to the pack.

Motu Matu'u replaces the injured Dane Coles at hooker and Mark Reddish comes in for the injured Jeremy Thrush at lock.

Victor Vito has a calf strain and is bracketed with Faifili Levave at number eight.

Meanwhile Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder has made three changes to his side for Saturday morning's match against the Sharks in Durban.

Andy Ellis starts at halfback with Zac Guildford returning to the left wing in place of the injured Johnny McNicholl with Adam Whitelock starting on the right wing.

Israel Dagg is on the bench having been a late withdrawal from the last two games with tight hamstrings, while Owen Franks has recovered from a knock to the ribs and starts.
