New South Wales assistant coach Daryl Gibson believes former NRL star Israel Folau can have the same impact on rugby union that Sonny Bill Williams had. Gibson worked as Crusaders backs coach when Williams first came to Super Rugby and will do the same with Folau at the Waratahs. He says there are many comparisons to be made between the two players. Gibson says they are very similar players and Folau's challenge is just going to be learning the game, which Williams was very good at. Israel Folau has just completed his first training with his new Super Rugby side. Photo: Photosport |
