The draw for next year's Super Rugby competition has been released. The main feature is the necessity of two Australian only rounds to help accommodate the British and Irish Lions tour in June. Round one in mid February and round 17 in the first week of June will see Australian derbies only, with rounds 18 and 19 and late June and early July to feature New Zealand and South African franchises. The defending champion Chiefs start on the road against the Highlanders, the Hurricanes host the Blues, while the Crusaders have to wait until round three before they travel to face the Blues.
