Deans playing down Eden Park losing streak

By: Nick Walker | Rugby News | Saturday August 25 2012 17:53

Wallabies coach Robbie Deans is deflecting the attention for their Eden Park hoodoo, as they try to break their 26-year drought in Auckland tonight.

Much has been made of Australia's record of not having beaten the All Blacks at Eden Park since 1986 and the pressure is on to deliver in the second Bledisloe Cup test.

Deans says it's more a case of the All Blacks lifting.

"That's probably a question you should direct moreso at the All Blacks because it's obviously a place that they enjoy playing and maybe that's the critical component."

Kickoff's at 7.35pm.
