New Zealand Football insists it'll pick a full-strength All Whites squad for next month's international friendly against China. The two sides will meet in Shanghai on November 14 during the one-day FIFA window which falls in the middle of league matches in Europe and Australasia. Winston Reid is scheduled to play for West Ham just two and a half days before the friendly. Chief executive Grant McKavanagh says they have a responsibility to the New Zealand public to win these matches. McKavanagh says they want to have the team together as much as possible so they have the cohesion required to win an inter-continental playoff. He says the All Whites won't be playing in the February window. Photo: Photosport |
