Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has asked for the club's management to give him public backing as the pressure mounts for him to lose his job.
Villas-Boas is under fire for his side's performances in the Premier League as they sit fifth and have no chance of winning the title.
Meanwhile he refutes claims today's first leg of their round of 16 Champions League tie against Napoli is vital if they want to progress.
He says they qualified top of the group so they knew what was needed on return to Stamford Bridge.
