Spain secure in number one spot

Spain's victory at the European Championships have seen them take a strong hold on football's number one ranking.

They've opened up a large gap on second-ranked Germany, with fellow Euro finalists Italy moving up six places to sixth.

The All Whites have moved up five places to 95th on the back of making it to the semifinals in the Oceania Nations Cup.

Meanwhile traditional powerhouses Brazil have dropped out of the top ten.
