New Zealand football's set to lose $200,000 from the World Cup qualifier against the Solomon Islands in Auckland. The All Whites have won 6-1 in front of a paltry crowd of 7900 at North Harbour Stadium. New Zealand Football Chairman admits that's not good enough and it could jeopardise future Auckland games. He says it makes it hard when you think about the difficulty they've had to bring people to Auckland and the fact the Jamaica game wasn't a success either. The All Whites next face Tahiti home and away next month with the home match to be staged in Christchurch. Photo: Photosport |
