Newcastle ponders legal action

By: Radio Sport staff | Latest Football News | Wednesday February 22 2012 6:50

A-League club Newcastle is considering its legal options after believing it may have been charged an excessive licence fee by Football Federation Australia.

The Jets have released a statement in the wake of allegations made by outspoken Gold Coast United owner Clive Palmer, including suggestions Jets owner Nathan Tinkler was overcharged for his licence fee.

The Jets have confirmed they have been in talks with FFA over several issues, including the licence fee.
