The goals have come thick and fast in this morning's Olympic hockey match between the men's Black Sticks and Germany in London.

The Black Sticks led 5-2 early in the second half of their final pool match but the highly-ranked Germans scored three late goals to draw the game 5-all.

The equaliser came with less than two minutes to play.

Nick Wilson, Richard Petherick and Stephen Jenness each scored a goal while Simon Child netted twice.

New Zealand hasn't qualified for the medal matches and will play off for ninth place.
